A big soft watermelon slice
A soft watermelon plush with a green rind, pink flesh and an embroidered smile. At roughly 50cm across it is one of the larger pieces in the range - closer to a cushion than a toy, and bright enough to set the tone of a whole corner of a room.
The shape holds itself up rather than flopping, so it sits well on a bed or a shelf, and the colour block is what makes it work as decoration as much as a plaything.

Fabric and filling
Polyester plush in a short dense pile, chosen because it keeps its colour - bright pinks and greens are the first to fade on a cheaper fabric. The filling is polypropylene fibre, light for its volume and quick to recover its shape after being sat on.

Where it works
Bright enough for a playroom, big enough for the end of a bed, and a good summer or fruit-themed birthday gift. One large piece does more for a room than several small ones.
Care
- Surface wash with a damp cloth and mild detergent
- Air dry away from direct heat and sunlight
- Do not bleach or tumble dry
- Brush the pile gently with a soft brush if it flattens
Safety
For supervised play. Keep soft items out of the cot while a baby is sleeping unattended, in line with Lullaby Trust safer sleep guidance. Check the seams from time to time and stop using it if anything works loose.
